The Planets: Out of Darkness, YouTube Premiere

Join us on Salisbury Cathedral’s YouTube channel for the premiere viewing of The Planets: Out of Darkness on 18 September 2024 at 8pm.

The Planets: Out of Darkness is a full-length film of Holst’s ‘The Planets’ arranged and performed by John Challenger, Assistant Director of Music at Salisbury Cathedral, on the Father Willis Organ. The recording was filmed at night by Ben Tomlin, featuring breathtaking drone footage of the lit-up interior of the cathedral.

The YouTube premiere is available to view for free by everyone. An accompanying CD will also be available for purchase and download on the same day.
