Be A Chorister For A Day 2024
A fun opportunity to learn what it is like to be a chorister...
This informal and fun day event is aimed at children in years 2, 3, and 4 and is a wonderful chance to experience what it is like to be a chorister at Salisbury Cathedral. This year’s Be A Chorister For A Day will be held on Saturday 12th October 2024.
The children will get the opportunity to have a behind-the-scenes tour of the Cathedral and Cathedral School; meet the current choristers and listen to a rehearsal; and participate in a singing session led by David Halls, the Cathedral’s Director of Music. The day will round off with a special Evensong service that all of your children will be invited to participate in.
Parents and guardians are welcome on this day too – it is just as important to know what being a chorister parent entails.
